ILAY ALBALANSI

I’m Ilay, a designer who loves creating calm, cohesive digital experiences. I enjoy shaping spaces where design flows naturally, guided by intention and curiosity. My work reflects a balance of clarity, warmth, and exploration, inspired by the world around me and the projects I take on. Every piece is a chance to connect, imagine, and craft something meaningful.
ABOUT ME
Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started exploring art at a young age and gradually found my way into digital design, eventually running my own studio for the past two and a half years. My focus is on creating websites and digital experiences that feel cohesive and intuitive, where every detail flows naturally and enhances the user experience. I love seeing how clarity, warmth, and intention come together in a project to create something meaningful.
Figure skating has been part of my life since I was young, teaching me discipline, focus, and a love for movement. This curiosity and attention to form naturally lead me to Italy, where I’ll be studying architecture over the next five to six years, exploring space, design, and the creative possibilities that come with them. Drawing, reading, and yoga continue to quietly shape how I approach design, influencing rhythm, balance, and flow in my work.
I approach each project with care, curiosity, and attention to detail, aiming to craft experiences that feel alive and intentional. Whether it’s a subtle interaction, a visual rhythm, or the overall structure of a site, I strive for cohesion and emotional resonance, creating work that feels human and thoughtfully designed.
